2009 Barrel Select Chardonnay
Awarded 4 stars and 'Best of New Releases' by Winestate Magazine in the New Releases Tasting
94 Points, 2012 Wine Companion
This is the long awaited new vintage barrel fermented, fully oak matured Chardonnay. The nose is rich and creamy with aromas of fresh
mango, honey and peach; while the palate is smooth and round and has a delicate balance between the creamy, toasty oak, the primary fruit
characters and the long, mineral finish. With good acidity and structure this wine will keep for 5 - 7 years.

2008 Single Vineyard Chardonnay
Bronze, 2010 Perth Royal Show
With our 2008 Chardonnay we aimed to create a wine with good varietal character and a subtle oak influence that complements the natural fruit characters without overpowering them. To achieve this 25% of the juice was fermented in new french oak barriques with another 25% portion fermented in one year old french oak. The resulting wine has an intense fruity nose with peach, melon and citrus notes complemented by a creamy oak undertone. On the palate, the oak is well integrated with crisp citrus and mineral characters balanced by a luxurious creaminess from some lees stirring.

2009 Amici
NEW RELEASE
This is the first blend of Sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay for Lost Lake. It has been made in the traditional Methode Champenoise. The wine was left to mature on lees
for two years, after which it is disgorged, packaged and ready to be sold. This vintage Amici is a rich, creamy colour with hints of dusky pink; there are layers of complex toasty aromas
from the extended lees contact, and lively, fresh strawberries and white peach on the palate.
'Amici' is Italian for friends; because these are who sparkling is made to be enjoyed with.
